I work on the unglamorous machinery that keeps large companies safe and working: identity, endpoints, vendors, infrastructure. Fourteen years of it at Meta, most of them spent moving hundreds of thousands of people onto systems they never had to think about. The technology is rarely the hard part — persuading people to give up things that still work is.

Originally from Chennai, I've lived and worked in Hyderabad, Dublin and Silicon Valley and now London, for good.

Whitman claimed to contain multitudes; I like to believe I do too. I have an English degree earned largely while blogging on technology, and an appetite for politics and economics, mainly to understand the incentives that make the world go. More curious than certain.
